In this era where big data is very important for businesses, data scientists are becoming more common and in-demand. Working as a data scientist means gathering, analyzing, and using data to understand and explain the phenomena around you and help the organizations make better decisions using that data. This job combines knowledge in computer science, statistics, and mathematics. Data scientists ought to have skills that include programming language, machine learning, data visualization, and big data.

What major to take

You can become a data science by having a bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, math, engineering, or a related field. You can also take certifications that focus on useful skills in data science, such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or SAS Certified Predictive Modeler using SAS Enterprise Miner 14.

In-Demand Future Jobs | Registered nurses

Since the pandemic, people's demand for healthcare has been surging. They are becoming the in-demand jobs as many people need to be cared for. A degree in actuarial science, applied math, or statistics is ideal as an actuary is based on those skills. But to be allowed to work as one, you must pass a series of exams for several years to be certified by the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) or the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
