History of Harvard Business School 

Established in 1908, Harvard Business School (HBS) is the first graduate business school to deliver the first MBA program in the world. The HBS campus is located in Boston's Allston neighborhood. 

At the time of its founding, Harvard Business school only accepted male students. It wasn't until December 1962 that the faculty voted to allow female applicants to enter the MBA program directly, and the first group of women to do so matriculated in September 1963.

Sheryl Sandberg 

After earning her MBA from Harvard in 1995, Sheryl Sandberg began her career as chief of staff to Larry Summers, who was serving as US Treasury Secretary. In 2008, Sheryl joined Facebook and served as its Chief Operating Officer, where she oversees all business operations. Alongside her work at Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg has also contributed to the field of corporate feminism, where she wrote the bestselling book Lean In.

Michael Bloomberg 

As a founder of the multi-billion dollar media group Bloomberg, Michael Bloomberg obtained his MBA at Harvard Business School in 1966. He was also the mayor of New York City, having won the election three times. He's famous for his work on issues such as air quality, public health, and sustainability.
